A Magnetic Mission: Redeemer Kindergarteners stick to science
|
EATONTON (February 28, 2011) -- Kindergarten scientists at Redeemer Episcopal Academy were armed and ready for magnet exploration during a recent class study. Reading interview papers and working with all kinds of writing projects was never as easy as during this specific sesssion. After exploring and discovering different kinds of magnets, the south and north poles, ability of magnets to attract and repel, and even places magnets should never be placed, these scientists were prepped with all the necessary tools to discover magnetic and nonmagnetic items on the playground. As they took their learning outside, they completed observation sheets for data recording. Hands-on, fully engaged learning keeps these Redeemer scientists excited as they learn and grow. |
